SRCC Inaugural Artists in Residence Announced

Sligo Rape Crisis Centre are delighted to announce that Órla Casey and Orla McHardy have been chosen as our inaugural Artists in Residence. The Artist in Residence programme offers an opportunity for the selected artists to spend 6 weeks engaging with SRCC to create new work on the theme of consent. Órla and Orla have collaborated to develop a very interesting proposal based on their backgrounds in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and animation and we are excited to work with them over the next while to bring their vision forward and share it with the community. The SRCC Artist Residency is funded by the Creative Ireland Programme (Sligo) 2023-2027
