SRCC Artist in Residence

Sligo Rape Crisis Centre Artist in Residence 2025

Sligo Rape Crisis Centre invites Sligo-based artists of any discipline to apply to our inaugural Artist in Residence programme.

The selected artist will be invited to spend 6 weeks engaging with SRCC to create work on the theme of consent. SRCC staff will support the artist to spend time engaging with the Centre’s work and will facilitate discussions around issues of consent, confidentiality, trauma, healing and education. The artist will be invited to attend our school consent workshops and any other public-facing SRCC work. SRCC will support the successful applicant to publicly present the resulting work.

The residency is supported by Creative Ireland Programme (Sligo) 2023-2027.
