Sligo Rape Crises Centre (SRCC) is calling for visual artists to donate a work of art to be auctioned on Culture Night, Friday September 22nd. The aim of the auction is to raise much needed funds for the centre and raise awareness of the important work we are doing in the community to support those affected by sexual violence.
For the second year, SRCC is working with Culture Night and the WeAct Campaign to promote its services. Culture Night invites everyone, everywhere, on one joyful night to discover and celebrate all that our wide-ranging culture is today, including local charitable organisations. SRCC is working in conjunction with WeAct, the national campaign to celebrate the impact of Ireland’s charities and community groups.
The deadline for receipt of donations is the last week of August.
